Frequently Asked Questions

What are my service expectations?

1. You’ll get a text message with our ETA when we’re on the way

2. We’ll arrive and scoop any and all pet waste that we can find

3. We put the waste in your trash bin

4. You get a picture selfie from us showing that your gate is locked and secure

5. We sanitize our equipment to ensure the health and safety of all dogs on our route

All poop will be removed. We thoroughly inspect every sq ft of the yard to clean up everything we find. If there is tall grass or debris it can be difficult to locate ninja-poops; however we will always do our best to give you a 5-star experience.

Yes, please unlock your gate on service days. Alternatively, you can provide us with a key or lock combination.

We will only be able to clean the front yard in this case since we can’t reach the backyard. We only enter the backyard if it’s easily accessible and there’s no dog threatening a staff member.

We understand there may be times, such as vacations, when you’d like to skip service. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust our schedule!

If your dog is friendly, we love having them around! But if your dog is unsafe or could be jumping or nipping at us, we kindly ask that you have your dog locked up while we service. If your dog appears to be unsafe or seems to be “protecting” the yard from us, we may not be able to service as it could be unsafe to enter the yard.

Yes please! It’s important to keep your grass cut and yard free of excessive leaves, fallen fruit, or debris. Pet waste can blend into tall grass or other obstructions, making it impossible to guarantee complete removal of all ninja-poops if they are hard to find.

If any poop has been locked or frozen in ice, we will not spend time digging through the ice to get to the poop since it could result in us damaging your turf. Such “Turdbergs”, it’s like ice-berg but… you know… may be left behind so as to not damage your lawn or our equipment.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed—if something isn’t right, we’ll come back and make it right at no extra cost.

1. How often do you visit?

Our most popular is once per week. However, if you have children playing in the yard or three or more dogs, we

recommend scheduling at least two visits per week for optimal cleanliness.

2. Do I have to sign a contract?

Nope! No contracts. However, we encourage a long-term outlook, as dogs will always need cleanups. Give us a chance to earn your business and if we exceed your expectations, we hope you’ll allow us to earn your continued business.

3. How do I pay for services?

We accept all major credit debit cards, and bank connections. We can email you a secure link for billing setup through our customer portal. Alternatively, we can call you to securely collect your payment method over the phone if you want to speak with a live person. Please note that we do not accept cash, checks, or Venmo. We won’t perform services until you have provided a payment method.

4. How often will I be billed?

Billing occurs monthly on the 1st day of each month. We calculate your monthly charge as follows:

(Weekly Service Rate × 52 weeks) ÷ 12 months = Monthly Charge

Example: If your “per cleanup” price is $22, your monthly amount will be $22 x 52(weeks) ÷ 12 months = $95.

This ensures consistent billing regardless of four- or five-week months, making it easier for you to budget.

5. Is there an additional cost for the first service?

Yes. First-time cleanups are $35, which includes the removal of up to five gallons of old waste. For each additional five gallon bucket used we charge $20 extra.

6. How is the first billing cycle applied?

Since most of our customers sign up after the 1st day of the month, we will bill you for your initial service cost plus the prorated cost for the remaining months services.

7. Do I need to be home when you arrive?

Nope! We’re happy to work while you’re away. However, if your dog could be dangerous, please do your diligence to make sure our staff members will be safe while working in your yard.

8. Do you work year-round?

Yes! We provide service throughout the year, even in most weather conditions, because dogs make messes all year long.

Weather, Holidays, and Unexpected Events

1. What happens in bad weather?

We work through most conditions, but heavy snow, rain, high winds, lightning, hazardous road conditions, or other unsafe weather may prevent service. If this happens, you’ll receive a notification and we’ll plan on doing twice the amount of work next week.

2. Will I still be charged for missed service due to weather?

Yes, (since we’ve already billed for the month). However the following week, we’ll do “double doody”, where we’ll remove twice the amount of waste which may include damp, rain-soaked material.

3. What holidays do you observe?

We observe the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas

4. Will I be charged if my service day falls on a holiday?

Yes, as we’ll remove a double load of waste on the following visit.

5. What about unforeseen circumstances?

In rare cases of illness, injury, or vehicle breakdown, we’ll notify you as soon as possible. If service is canceled, the following week’s cleanup will cover two weeks’ worth of waste.

  • If a longer disruption occurs, such as an extended illness, we can issue a credit if you prefer to clean the yard yourself during this time.
