It’s one of the questions we get asked the most, and honestly, it’s a fair one. You want a number before you commit to letting strangers into your backyard on a schedule.
So let’s talk about what actually drives the price, because it’s not just “how big is your yard.”
The big three factors
Number of dogs. More dogs means more waste means more time on-site. A one-dog household and a three-dog household are two very different jobs, even with the same size yard.
Visit frequency. This is the one that surprises people. Weekly service is cheaper per visit than every-other-week or monthly, because a weekly yard is quick and predictable. A monthly yard, on the other hand, usually means a much bigger cleanup each time, plus more hunting through grass for waste that’s had a month to settle in. We call the well-hidden ones “ninja-poops” for a reason.
Yard size and layout. A tidy quarter-acre with clear sightlines takes less time than a sprawling, fenced-in, landscaped yard with a dozen hiding spots.
What about the first visit?
This one matters more than people expect. If it’s been a while (weeks, months, or “let’s not talk about it”) since your yard has been cleaned, that first visit is priced separately from your ongoing plan. It’s a flat cleanup fee that covers the initial deep clean, including any Turdbergs we find along the way (frozen waste that’s been sitting since winter… you get the idea). After that first pass, your yard moves onto your regular maintenance rate.
So what does regular service actually cost?
Regular service typically runs somewhere between $17 and $45 per visit, and that range is wide on purpose. The two biggest factors are how many dogs you have and how often we come. Someone getting twice-a-week visits for one dog pays a lot less per visit than someone with five dogs getting a visit every other week, because the time spent in the yard and the amount of waste scooped changes drastically between those two situations. On average, our customers land around $25 per visit, but your number depends on your setup.

What about a one-time cleanup?
Not everyone wants an ongoing plan. Maybe you’re hosting a party, selling your house, or just want the yard handled once. A lot of companies charge a massive flat fee for a single visit, sometimes $200 or more, no matter how much waste is actually out there. We think that’s a raw deal, so we charge by volume instead. A one-time cleanup starts at $80 flat, which covers up to 5 gallons of waste, and adds $20 for each additional 5-gallon bucket beyond that. No recurring commitment required, just a clean yard and a fair price for what we actually hauled out of it.
Good news: no contracts, ever
Whatever your rate ends up being, you’re never locked in. Start, pause, or cancel anytime. If your dog goes to live with grandma for the summer, you pause. If you move, you cancel. No cancellation fees, no “well actually you signed a 12-month agreement” surprise.
A few optional add-ons
Once you’re set up, you can layer on a couple of extras if you want them:
